Jon Frantsvog, Chairman
Jon Frantsvog is an avid pilot who earned his license in 1977, Instrument rating in 1981, and Commercial Pilot Certificate in 2001. He earned a bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration in 1982 from Concordia College, Moorhead, MN. Jon has been working in the health care field since he was 15 years old.
Jon moved to Dickinson in 1998 when he became the Administrator/CEO of St. Benedict's Health Center. He has been a member of the Airport Authority since February 2000, and became Chairman of the Airport Authority in 2009.
He serves on several boards and committees, including the Board of Directors for St. Josephís Hospital and Health Center, the St. Josephís Hospital Finance Committee, Community Ethics Committee, Northland Health Alliance Board, Northland PACE Board, Benedictine Health System Quality Council, and the North Dakota Chamber of Commerce Board. He is a member of Healthy 8, a Master Examiner for the American Health Care Associationís Baldrige based quality award, and a volunteer pilot for AngelFlight.
Bob Zent, Vice Chairman
Bob Zent has been farming since 1978 when he and his family moved back to Dickinson from Fargo. He was appointed to the Dickinson Municipal Airport Board in December of 2000 and became Vice Chairman in 2009.
Bob graduated from Dickinson State College in 1969 with a bachelorís degree in secondary education and major in business administration. In addition to the Airport Board Authority, he currently is a Deacon at St. Wenceslaus, Dickinson, as well as a trustee on the St. Wenceslaus Corporate Board, Financial Secretary for K of C Council 8839, Faithful Navigator for Fourth Degree K of C Assembly 790, chairman of the Dickinson Rural Fire Department, and Moral Leadership officer for the Dickinson Civil Air Patrol Squadron, and servers on the board for Sunrise Youth Bureau in Dickinson. He is also a member of the Elks.
Bob became involved with and interested in the airport board through association with other pilots at the Dickinson Airport and saw the importance of promoting and growing the local airport. Bob flew a private pilot until early 2007.
Craig Steve graduated from Moorhead State University in Moorhead, MN with a degree in Finance. He is currently the owner of All American Travel in Dickinson. Prior to owning the travel agency, Craig owned a farm equipment business along with being employed in the banking and farm equipment field. He joined the Airport Authority in 1994.
Craig is a member of the Dickinson Elks 1137, Dickinson Rotary Club member, current member and past President of St. Joseph's Hospital Foundation, member of St. Joseph's Hospital Board of Directors, Dickinson Public School's Foundation board member, member of the Dickinson Convention and Visitor's Bureau Board of Directors, Dickinson Baseball Club board member, and past chair of Dickinson Shrine Circus.
Craig resides in Dickinson with his wife Linda and his two children.
Tom Reichert was appointed to the Dickinson Municipal Airport Authority by Mayor Henry Schank in 1993. He is the past chairman of the Airport Authority.
Tom is a graduate of St. John's University in Collegeville, Minnesota, and has been practicing as a certified public accountant in Dickinson, North Dakota, since 1974. He is a partner in the accounting firm of Reichert, Fisher & Co., P.C., which has offices in Dickinson and Williston, North Dakota.
Mr. Reichert, who is a life-long resident of Dickinson, North Dakota, is a private pilot and has been involved in aviation in the Dickinson area most of his adult life. He and his wife, Pamela, have three adult children.
Shawn Soehren, Commissioner
Shawn Soehren graduated from North Dakota State University in Fargo, ND with a bachelorís degree in Civil Engineering. After graduation Shawn moved to St. Joseph MO where he worked for the Missouri Department of Transportation.
Shawn moved to Dickinson in 2003 when he became the City Engineer. Shawn was appointed to the Dickinson Municipal Airport Board in April of 2009.
In addition to the Airport Board Authority, Shawn is also the treasurer of the Dickinson Hockey club, Vice President of the Dickinson Optimist Club, and a member of the Dickinson Elks 1137.
Shawn resides in Dickinson with his wife Denise and his three children.
