Great Lakes Airlines Announces Partnership with United Blood Services

Cheyenne, WY., January 14, 2009 — Great Lakes Aviation, Ltd. (OTC Bulletin Board: GLUX.OB — news) today announced a partnership with United Blood Services in an effort to bring awareness to the need for increased blood donations.

Great Lakes Airlines, in partnership with United Blood Services is offering a “Great Getaway” to Denverfrom the Dickinson Regional Airport. Donors in and around the Dickinson area will have the opportunity to register to win two round trip tickets from Dickinson to Denver. A winner will be drawn every six months, for a total of four round trip tickets in 2009, courtesy of Great Lakes Airlines.

United Blood Services is a non-profit community blood center and is the sole provider of blood for transfusion to 71 hospitals in North Dakota, northeast South Dakota, and northwest Minnesota. United Blood Services needs to collect over 300 units a day to provide to the 71 hospitals it serves.
